Drips

Hi Pancake Pals. It's been a long time. There's a reason. The Pancake Project has been picked up by Sterling Press. It's going to be a book. It'll be out as a "How To" kit complete with a bottle sometime in September. They've chosen the name, "Extreme Pancake Kit." It's got instructions on how to make a lot of funny pancakes and a couple of really pretty ones. This photo is of one of the really pretty ones. The texture on this turned out amazing.

I could use some help. If any of you have connections to a magazine that might run an article about the kit let me know. I need to get some publicity to try to sell some books. Get me a successful lead and I'll send you a copy of the book when it comes out.

About this pancake: It's all drips. I had some colored batter left over from another project and just started dripping it on the griddle. That's how I made those leaves. It really built up into a beautiful texture.

  3. I'm not with a professional magazine, but I know there are a lot of book bloggers out there who would be interested in reviewing it. Feel free to check out my blog and see what I mean. I don't have many reviews of cook books or books like this, but there are lots of bloggers who do review cook books and cooking related books weekly.
